To collect Jabra Engage headset statistics here's what you need to do.

Have compatible Jabra Headsets

  • For all Operata analytics features the Jabra Headset needs to support their 'comprehensive telemetry datapoint'

  • Models that currently support this capability are:

    • Jabra Engage 50 II

    • Jabra Engage 65

    • Jabra Engage 75

  • For Headset Call Control capability enabled by the Operata agent collector Chrome/Edge extension (muting the Jabra Headset, mutes the softphone etc) lower levels of Jabra headsets are also supported.

    • Jabra Evolve range

    • Jabra Engage 50 II

    • Jabra Engage 65

    • Jabra Engage 75

Preparation

  • Both the Jabra Chrome Host and Jabra Browser integration chrome extension need to be installed on supported OS and Browsers. Select the button below to see the latest details and software links from Jabra.

  • The firmware on your Jabra Headset may need to be updated to the latest version using the Jabra Direct application.

  • Jabra headset data collection needs to be enabled in Operata, just contact Operata and we will do this.

Testing

For testing you will need:

  • Jabra Engage Headset.

  • Access to Operata.

A machine with access to the Agent Softphone that has:

  • The Jabra Chrome Host and Jabra Browser integration chrome extension installed.

  • The Operata Chrome extension installed.

  • Chrome Headset mic settings to use the Jabra Engage Headset.

  • Machine Headset settings to use the Jabra Engage Headset.

Once you have all this enabled, make and end a call, data should now appear in the Playbook - Jabra.

Here's the details...
