Checking Operata service status and reporting platform issues

How to check whether Operata is experiencing a platform issue, quick self-service checks to try first, and how to report an issue to the Operata support team with the right information.

Overview

If Operata appears to be down, loading slowly, or behaving unexpectedly, this article explains how to check the current service status and how to report an issue to the Operata team.

Checking service status

Before contacting support, check whether there is a known platform issue:

  • Check https://trust.operata.com/ to see real-time platform availability.

  • Look for a banner or notification at the top of the Operata app — the team posts status updates here during incidents.

  • Contact your Operata admin or CSM — they may already be aware of a platform event and in contact with the Operata team.

  • Use the chat widget on this Help Centre page to ask Operata support if there is a current incident.

Before reporting — quick checks

Some issues are local rather than platform-wide. Try these before contacting support:

  • Hard refresh — press Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac)

  • Clear browser cache — go to browser settings and clear cached images and files

  • Try a different browser — if the issue is browser-specific, this will confirm it

  • Check your network — try loading another site to confirm your internet connection is working

  • Connect from a different network — try pairing to a mobile network to access Operata.

  • Ask a colleague — if others in your team can access Operata normally, the issue may be local to your machine

Reporting a platform issue to Operata

Report issues using either of the following options:

  1. URL: Link to a form to capture data (https://operata.com/support)

  2. Web chat (within the application) using the Have an issue 'Let Operata know' button.
